In this post, we will discuss how to maximize WordPress File Upload Size 2MB to 2TB. As you all know WordPress is a great platform for sharing a post with your friends and online world. But there is one limitation, regarding file upload size. You can’t upload a larger file, the file size is limited to 2 MB (Maximum). We will check how to overcome this problem.
The best way to increase the limit is by using a plugin called “Tuxedo Big File Uploads” that will enable large file uploads in the standard built-in WordPress media uploader. The best thing you don’t need to install any file transfer protocol, you could simply upload any larger video into WordPress. According to the description given in the plugin, you could upload any large as the only limit is your available disk space.
There is no need to configure any setting, just search this plugin, install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. After installation, you need to activate this plugin. Once you activated you could upload any size file to your WordPress website. If you want to change some settings, then use the settings then media then uploading files screen.
Second option is edit wp_config.php. I’m not going to details, You could check one of the videos on youtube. A link is given at the end of this post. Compare to editing WP_config.php I would prefer installing the plugin and setting the limit in config.
